After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your safari adventure begins with a scenic drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of the most iconic natural wonders in Africa. Upon arrival, you will descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Enjoy a spectacular half-day game drive on the crater floor, where you will encounter diverse wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalos, zebras, hippos, and if lucky, the rare black rhino. The crater is often referred to as the “Garden of Eden” due to its rich biodiversity and breathtaking scenery. Later in the evening, you will check in to your lodge/camp located within or near the conservation area for dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, you will check out and drive across the rolling hills and highlands of Ngorongoro before entering the endless plains of the Serengeti National Park, home to the legendary Great Migration and an incredible variety of wildlife. Along the way, you may choose to visit a traditional Maasai Boma to learn about the Maasai culture and lifestyle. Upon entering Serengeti, enjoy an en-route game drive as you head deeper into the park. The Serengeti offers unrivaled opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, and a multitude of bird species. Arrive at your luxury tented camp or lodge in central Serengeti by late afternoon for dinner, evening leisure, and overnight stay.

The dry season (June–October) is ideal for wildlife viewing as animals concentrate around water sources and roads are passable. January–February is also excellent. The short rains (November–December) and long rains (March–May) have fewer crowds and greener landscapes but can have wetter conditions. We help you choose the best timing for your goals (e.g., Great Migration).
